You are an active participant in your healthcare I will work with you in a respectful way that allows for plenty of questions and answers. I prefer the working-together approach, and not the paradigm of the healer acting on a passive patient. In fact, the words “passive” and “patient” both come from the Latin for “to suffer” – not a good model! When we work together, you can learn how to take care of yourself for long-term wellness. Think of me as the coach to your healing process. You are an essential participant in the unfolding of your healthier, happier life. You may spend 60 to 90 minutes a week in my office. We’ll look at what you can do for yourself the rest of the week. Together we will plan small, manageable lifestyle changes that will add up to big, long-term improvements in being and functioning. Better mental, physical and emotional balance Acupuncture will help you plan and carry through on a sure, gradual shift to better health. Yet health is much more than the absence of symptoms. Ask yourself: how healthy do I feel?
I practice healthcare - not sick care. So you can go beyond the elimination of symptoms to true health. I practice an inclusive, comprehensive approach that is designed to respond to your individual needs at a specific time. My clients’ experiences show that lifestyle changes (proper rest, exercise, and diet) combined with acupuncture create a synergy of good health. So I integrate physical, mental and emotional therapeutic solutions that involve your whole person. Instead of just eliminating the symptoms, we can bump our Feeling Good Index up about 1,500 points. This is the Tao to watch!
